In honor of Turkey Day I wanted to call out some awful car mods. Jive Turkeys, if you will. The cause of this label could be anything from misbadged vehicles to funky fabrication. Let us all be entertained by these terrible automotive mistakes. Hopefully no one will lose their appetite viewing tese crude customizations.
What Jive Turkeys would you like to call out? Someone local? Some crappy internet hero?
Edit: I hate trying to add multiple photos. I always blow it.

Well, I just came across this.

Happy Thanksgiving! Just looked at your link and this one made me laugh.
I would also like to submit a Saturn with wood trim.
EDIT: Also just found this in your link **shivers**

All good candidates for the Jive Turkey award.
Side note: how do you add multiple photos in one post? Kinja hates me.

Edit: double post. Kinja really hates me.

How did you find pictures of all the cars in my garage?!?!?!?!

Thanks! I'm still figuring it out as well.
It should be similar to the comments system. For the "beta post creator", if you click the image button at the top (it should be the 2nd from the left) that looks like a landscape scenery, and paste the link into the text field. To add multiple just repeat the process.
If you're using the "old post creator", it should be the same looking button (but 4th from the left). If it still doesn't work, I'll try to explain it more in depth with screenshots =D.
Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm not sure a movie replica car counts. I think it should be original bad taste rather than borrowed bad taste.

Thanks!

Well then, doing this to a ZL1 (not a chevy fanboy). It's a car engineered for performance, and that is all ruined. Could have just ruined a base model.

No problemo!! =D

Ruining a classic. I'm down with people doing whatever they want to do with their rides as long as they're not fucking up a piece of history.

Ok that is a genuine waste of a perfectly good car without the "replica excuse". I am chagrined. Hats off sir!

Check out my lowered Jeep, Bro!
![]() 11/28/2013 at 18:53 |

But then they couldn't brag about having the largest wheels ever fitted onto a ZL1. It's totally a million times more rare, yo!

You mean like this...
![]() 11/28/2013 at 19:07 |

Nope. I'm all for the outlandish and absurd modification of replicas.

Dude that Saturn is badass

I didn't realize it was a replica.

In it's own weird way, it sort of is.

Brah not Bro.

Ok now ya'll correct me if I'm wrong but this has to be a SS Camaro witha supercharger becaause not only does it not have the typical ZL1 Supercharger but its a convertible .. Again I could be wrong and correct me if I am but I dont think the ZL1 was/is made as a convertible .. other then that ..Why Green halo Headlight WHY !!!!

Stick on vents or "speed holes" as I like to call them are so whack. Fake hood scoops, anything from Walmart to customize your car that isn't a tow hitch is lame.

This is a good one. Buick ports on your Cobalt? Not cool. Stick on hood scoops drive me crazy. They dont even look kind of real. They offer no advantages.

I figured they just chopped the roof off. That didnt seem extreme considering the other mods. I honestly didnt look close enough to tell the difference.

Also in light of the recent "history of the mustang" on Jalop, I found it funny that the fake side intakes for a missing rear engine have always been just that: decorative, stick on, fake engine ducts.
